Hi there. I am Giuseppe (@giusec) and this is my marketing blog.
I’m Italian. I spend my life between London (where I live with my better half, one of the top AR professionals in the tech space, and my dog Eddie) and Milan, where my awesome girls Asia & Maya live. Note: that was pre-Covid time. I am now stuck in London, together with +9M other folks.
Launched in January 2020 with the goal of collecting under the same roof all posts and articles I’ve published across the net, marketing aX borders expands the focus of its twin site dedicated to Content Marketing.
I’m a global marketer. Working today as Sr. Marketing Director for Rock Content, a leading content experience company, I’ve been Vice President of Marketing for Schneider Electric and Invensys.
In mid 2020 I’ve started a collaboration with General Assembly, leader in marketing and tech education, where I teach marketing, storytelling and branding. My workshops can be found here.
I am often invited as a guest lecturer at Universities and Business Schools in the UK and the USA; London South Bank University, St. Edward’s University in Austin and McCombs School of Business in Austin, are among them. I’m a speaker and writer too.
I was recognised as one of the most influential B2B marketers by companies Market Recruitment in 2019, Onalytica in 2018 and Traackr in 2016 and have achieved an essential place among the 2017 ‘Top 25 Masters of Multichannel Marketing’ list by intelligence agency [A].
I’m a vagabonder and a blogger. I started blogging in the early 2000s on one of the first open blogging platforms (Splinder). I was featured by national news, like ‘La Repubblica‘. Then I moved to the heavy-coding Movable Type platform. I finally switched to WordPress 12 years ago.
I’ve been travelling for business and leisure all my life. I’ve lived in Sicily, Milan, Austin, and now London. Yet, I’ve barely touched 10% of known countries around the globe. The goal is to double in the next 10 years, Covid permitting. I love sailing and hiking; I’ve recently hiked Las Torres del Paine and Mt. Fitz Roy in Patagonia.
It is rumoured I’m allergic to garlic and social media influencers, but that is largely unconfirmed.
My professional profile can be found on LinkedIn.
And of course, all views on this blog are my own.
